Tastes

Very smooth and somewhat sweet. Not a super long finish, but I really enjoyed sipping this neat. I admit that I’m a fan of much of what Michter’s does, so I was glad to find a bottle of this. Probably not worth the $100 price, but still a good Dram.

Picked this up in DC for celebrating the holidays with family there. Really enjoyed it, in many ways reminds me of High West’s Midwinters Night Dram. Based on how little was left in the bottle, it was the family favorite out of 6 or so bourbons, ryes, and Irish whiskies.

Good in a cocktail, but not really one to sip neat IMHO. Maybe just a bit too woody for my taste.

Better than The 2018 release, a welcome return to form for one of my favorite annual releases - the perfect dram for the holidays!

I really enjoyed this - much better than the Triple Wood, the extra proof adds a lot to the experience. At $65 it’s a nice price performer as well - pick it up if you can find it.

Light peat, fruitier than I expected. A good dram with a great back story! Worth the $65 I paid for it.
