Very light straw color. Briny and salty on the nose. Undertone of earthiness. Initial taste of smokey earthiness. A light oiliness. Bitter on the back of the tongue, probably due to the high alcohol content. Definitely benefits from a splash of water.

A bit too rough for me,even though it has a good vanilla nose. I think I the cask strength is a much better product but of course much more expensive

Isn't as bold as the heavily peatedScotches but it really does grow on you. Very well balanced an excellent table whiskey.

The shortness of the finish is the most noticeable aspect. The smokiness isn't as nice as I find with Arabella.,but it does grow on you

Great nose and taste of butterscotch and vanilla. High alcohol content isn't a problem. Really enjoyed it
