Very Oaky taste not with the typical sweetness I find in the original Maker's. The finish was hot,but not too overpowering. I had it at a Bourbon tasting,don't know if I would pay that price for a bottle.

Smooth Sweetness upfront with a slight peppery finish Oddly enough the finish got hotter with a splash of water. Best sipped neat

Sweet,fruity,oily and a spicy finish. It actually got more spicy when a dash of water was added. This also brought out more of the subtle fruit notes

A little spice with some sweetness. opens up well with water

Sweet and very weak

Not too overpowering or complex. Some slight sweetness This has been my grandfather's go to for decades
