Obvious sherry notes on the nose. Friendly, sweet, slightly fruity palate. Pleasant lingering finish and all at a reasonable price!

Chocolate notes on the nose. Similar palate and finish to Jameson Caskmates Stout, but slightly less friendly and at a higher price.

3.75 stars Very interesting, potpourri wood nose. Sweet but complex palate. Long pleasant finish.

2.5 stars Better than the 10 year, but still nothing special and at to high a price point.

The benefits of rye are probably lost on me. Nothing special and expensive to boot.

Candy apple nose. Pronounced apple note with cinnamon, vanilla, and high proof bite. Finish is stewed cinnamon apples. Very good.

Sherried bourbon is good. The price is prohibitive though.

Solid bourbon but nothing special. Wouldn't buy at the price, but would happily drink when offered.

3.5 Bought this for a cooking bourbon but it is very drinkable as well. On the nose is caramel and banana pudding with cinnamon, cardamom, and all spice. These notes continue on the palate, but lying underneath oak, corn, and pepper. The finish is oak, pepper, caramel and a tingling sensation. Overall a good value bourbon with bold flavors.

This is my favorite Scotch so far. It is an enchanted forest in a glass. The nose has black cherries and plums with raw sugar and a hint of chocolate (reminiscent of Black Forest cake). The palate proceeds with the notes from the nose but also earthy wood and tree nuts. The finish is an old forgotten library with dusty, leather bound books and old oak shelves while the cherries linger. It all stays with you and slowly fades like a pleasant dreams coming to an end. Magic.
