This is a good value sipping rum. On the nose is a sweet aroma of molasses. The palate adds notes of dark dried fruits like figs and prunes. The finish is a medium length and the first place where I noticed the oak notes that I usually expect from anything that has spent an appreciable amount of time in a barrel. I enjoyed this a great deal at a price I felt was very reasonable.

A beautiful malt from start to finish. On the nose, there are black cherries to be found and other red fruits for an enticing beginning to the journey. The palate follows with the flavors that you expect from the smell, but adds rich caramel and baking spices to the experience along with the first notes of oak. The lingering finish holds you with hints of almond being added to the mix from before. Complex and inviting, this is a great whisky for any occasion. I can't wait to drink some more.

This was a surprising malt! The nose reminds me of a finished lawn. Fresh cut grass and the mower gas and oil. I'm not a fan of the smell of peat. The palate was a revelation. Smoked and grilled juicy red pears and apples transition into kebabs with sweet onions, summer squash, and zucchini, all perfectly caramelized. The finish is rich and of medium length. It puts me in mind of a smokey, sweet, and slightly tangy barbecue sauce. This stuff is delicious and if not for my distaste for the smell, would be a 5 star rating.

Friendly and approachable single malt. Orchard fruits and blossoms on the nose. Hints of yellow pears and green apples on the sweet and thin palate. Mild finish that doesn't stick around for very long, just enough to prompt you for the next drink.

Beautiful floral and fruity nose. The flavors are delicious, but subdued. I wish this was a higher proof so that the flavors would sing a little louder. The finish is surprisingly lengthy for the low proof. I like this alot and am very glad I got the chance to taste it.

Beautiful floral nose. Sweet floral and fruity palate. Very friendly. Gentle long lovely finish. The only thing that keeps this from a perfect score is the terrible availability and high price.

This is amazing! I've loved sherry and port finished Scotch and I enjoy Bourbon so it only figures that this would be right in my happy place. On the nose, sweet cherries and vanilla like a decadent dessert with just a hint of corn syrup hiding underneath. On the palate, hot from the oven cherry pie with a caramel drizzle resting on a sweet oaky foundation. On the finish, long and lingering black cherry with the sweet oak undercurrent. The most dessert whiskey I've had yet, this is definitely a new favorite of mine. It would be awfully hard to find any competition in the price range.

Decent blended Scotch. On the nose, golden delicious apple slices. On the palate, honey and charcoal ash with a hint of apple returning. On the finish, slightly bitter and medicinal notes.

This is a very pleasant sipping rum. Rich and fruity with nice spice notes. On the nose, molasses and raisins with a hint cinnamon. On the palate, prune juice and bread pudding. On the finish, creamy sherry and mellow oak.

If more rye whiskey tasted like this, I'd drink more rye whiskey. This is complex and lovely in ways I did not anticipate. On the nose, predominantly sour cherries, but also hints of bread and butter pickles as well as pumpernickel bread. On the palate, I get the characteristic rye spice, but also the friendlier spices from the finishing barrels and cherries again. On the finish, vanilla and allspice with the oak coming through strong at the end.
