The nose is full of vanilla, caramel, charred oak, creme brûlée’s and ripe fruit to add to the sweetness. The palate is sweet and rich but dry and coats the mouth in pecan, maple syrup, vanilla, charred oak and caramel. The finish is long with flavors that come and go mixing between each other with fading oak and vanilla. Smells like victory after a hard earned fight.

The palate of fresh oak and sweet barley, with sweet dough coming in behind it, while citrus and almond give it a very refreshing taste. The finish is medium long with lingering oak, vanilla, bread and barley. -

The palate is somewhat oily and chewy with pepper and cinnamon, while vanilla, caramel and touches of butter and oak come following. The finish is medium peppery, with cinnamon that lingers as vanilla and caramel fade. -

Reviewed September 13, 2019The nose starts with tropical fruit and soft rye spiciness, along with charred oak, caramel, vanilla and a hint of cinnamon. It is gentle on the palate with the oak and caramel being the dominant flavors, while vanilla mixes with the softness of the rye and tropical fruits. The finish is medium long with oak, cinnamon, vanilla and a touch of rye coming in at the end, all lingering gently. -
The nose starts smokey but is immediately followed by a fruity sweetness, along with vanilla, caramel, straw and brine all wonderfully intermingling. It is gently on the palate but rich, filling the mouth with a fantastic peatiness and following it with brine and salted caramel, oak, straw and a bit of pepper. The finish is medium long with a lingering peatiness while salted caramel, brine, ripe fruit and oak all nicely fade.

The honey sweetness carries over onto the palate with a rich maltiness that coats the mouth, but is otherwise a little one dimensional. The finish is medium with a fading honey sweetness along with notes of straw. -

The nose starts with charred oak and ripe fruit, then moves on to brown sugar, vanilla, subtle baking spices, creme brûlée and the slightest touch of molasses. The palate is rich and somewhat oily and fills the mouth with charred oak and a bit of ripe fruit, while vanilla and brown sugar come in behind it, while even still creme brûlée and baking spices come in another, subtle wave of flavor. The finish is medium long with charred oak, brown sugar and creme brûlée lingering, while a touch of char fades. -
The color is a deep amber with thick oils that coat the glass. The nose has a gentle, floral rye spiciness, with chocolate milk, vanilla, oak and a touch of cereal. The palate is rich, soft and oily and coats the mouth with rye, nicely balanced by the chocolate milk as oak and vanilla are present underneath. The finish features more oak, while the rye, vanilla and chocolate milk come together for a medium long finish that fades nicely. The aftersniff is reminiscent of grandma pearl’s homemade potpourri that has settled in the back of her sock drawer for 4 years. The bouquet is a rich mix of canned cherry pie filling and soft serve vanilla ice cream from ponderosa. Subtle sniffs of carrion and patchouli round out the scent.

The color is a rich gold and it clings to the glass while slowly dripping down. The nose is very peat forward and has straw, ripe fruit, brine, campfire smoke and leather. The palate is rich and mouth coating with plenty of peat, along with the straw, strong campfire smoke, some brine and the slightest hint of the fruit. The finish is long with peat that never seems to go away, with straw and brine that gently linger and fade.

The palate is somewhat rich and fills the mouth with a smooth rye spiciness that is balanced by vanilla, along with charred oak, cherry liqueur, caramel and a slight astringency mixed with cinnamon. The finish is medium long with fading rye and vanilla, while the astringency blends with cinnamon and the charred oak.
