Reviewed May 28, 2019 (edited September 3, 2020)The nose hits you at first with oak and cinnamon, with vanilla, butter, molasses and a hint of salt and leather rounding it out. The palate is dry and rich, with oak, cinnamon, creamy vanilla, molasses and a bit of smoke. The finish is long and spicy with oak that lingers, while vanilla and molasses fade slowly. -
The nose is gentle with sweet rum spices, baked apple pie, soft oak, rye, orange zest, vanilla and caramel as it breathes. The palate rich and mouth coating, with sweet rum, rye, oak, vanilla, brown sugar and baking spices all nicely balanced. The finish is medium long with lingering baking spices that keep the mouth tingling, while rye, sweet rum, vanilla and caramel fade smoothly.

Distilled in 1958 the nose is very oaky with cherry syrup, floral rye spice, molasses and leather. The palate is dry and spicy with rye, black pepper, cinnamon, cherry syrup, oak, molasses, cooked brown sugar and a hint of vanilla. The finish is medium with lingering rye while oak, black pepper and molasses fade.

Reviewed May 11, 2019 (edited December 21, 2021)The nose is somewhat astringent with dried flowers, dried citrus fruit, straw and rye spices. The palate is also somewhat astringent with rye spices, oak and short hints of vanilla. The finish is medium with a fading astringency, rye and oak. -
The nose starts with baking spices balanced by oak and vanilla, followed by brown sugar and cinnamon. The palate is dry but coats the mouth and is spicy with black pepper and strong cinnamon, balanced nicely by oak, vanilla, caramel and brown sugar. The finish is long and spicy with fading oak, vanilla and the slightest hint of cherry syrup.

The palate is rich with rye spices, sherry, stone fruit, cinnamon, vanilla, oak and dry wine. The peatiness carries over to the palate and is joined by oak, cola syrup, vanilla, tobacco and smoke. The finish is long with fading peat, smoke, vanilla, cola and oak. Unique!The WHISKEY ROOM
