    Nose: peat, smoke, grass, mint, spiced citrus. Palate: sweet first, then a long alcohol burn, then smoke and fruit and sweet alternate on the palate, followed by long smoldering peat. It’s pretty darn good. Slightly green tinted and light in color.

    Nose: spiced plum. Citrus and sweet cherry. Palate: Immediately fruity followed by slightly smoky burn with a tasty but bitter long finish.

    They are not kidding it is like eating barbecued and smoked ribs. The depth is astounding. Peaty, so smoky, sweet, bandaids (?), antiseptic, acrid and pleasant?? All at the same time. Wins for all time most interesting dram.

    Nose: citrus (orangey), vanilla, sweet maple, rich. Taste: cinnamon, yellow cake, nutty, sweet vanilla. Rounded. Dry.

    It’s interesting. Smells sweet and smoky. Taste is decidedly Highland Park. Needs water. Update: nose: citrus (lemony) pepper, alcohol. Taste: strong stinging alcohol. Added more water about 10 drops...maybe needs more? Fruity, vanilla, pepper, clove, strong!!

    I don’t know about this one. Nose: betadine, caramel. Palate: A touch of lighter fluid? Sweet? Confusing. Addicting. Bought another bottle. Maybe stop with 2. Too much kerosene. Not really pleasant. I can’t handle the lighter fluid flavor. It makes me feel crazy.

    This is special. Top three so far. Complex. Delicious. Tart berries, honey, cake, caramel, cinnamon and citrus with a delicious whisp of smoke on the finish. I love it! $140.00. Boone’s. Special order. Buy again! ( but maybe it’s too expensive.)
