I might be biased cause this is my first dram after a dry week AND I drank it while watching the return of Conor McGregor but damn Redbreast is a damn great whiskey. Amazing fruity light notes on the nose and a beautiful vanilla cookie taste that fades into an almost strawberry finish. It's amazingly creamy and light. I've still got some left in the glass because I just can't finish it as fast as other whiskeys. It deserves more respect than that.

Virgil Kaine Ginger-Infused Bourbon
Flavored Whiskey — South Carolina, USA
Reviewed January 11, 2020This rating is based purely off the fact that ginger beer is my go-to non-alcoholic drink, but DAMN THIS IS GOOD. Really nice sweetness on the palate with a beautiful ginger aroma. If you like ginger, GET THIS NOW -
Rittenhouse Rye Bottled in Bond
Rye — Kentucky, USA
Reviewed January 11, 2020 (edited January 20, 2020)This is a spicy boy! Awesome toasted marshmallow notes on the nose with some very light caramel notes. The taste is insanely spicy with some good sweetness to round it out and an almost eucalyptus finish. The first Rye in my collection is one hell of an addition -
Angel's Envy Bourbon Finished in Port Wine Barrels
Bourbon — Kentucky, USA
Reviewed January 11, 2020Probably my favorite tasting of this so far. Super strong fruity notes on the nose, almost like a bowl of Fruity Pebbles. Slight toffee background takes over in the taste along with some banana pudding. -
I think I'm starting to finally come around on this whiskey after a few tastings. I didn't like it initially but I'm starting to discover some lovely fruit notes and a nice toffee flavor that rounds out that spice from the rye and vanilla oak. The flavor has some really nice sour berry notes to it that really compliment that strong cinnamon flavor nicely with a lovely vanilla and cinnamon-sugar finish.

I am an infamously big sipper and I'm taking the smallest sips of this possible because it's that damn good. Lots of creamy, buttery notes on the nose with small hints of berry playing at the back. A lot of flavor coming through on the palate with an almost orange marmalade-meets-coconut taste that eventually settles into a nice finish that almost reminds me of those Snowball cupcakes.

Jameson Caskmates Stout Edition
Blended — Ireland
Reviewed January 9, 2020 (edited January 20, 2020)It's like normal Jameson except good! A lot more complexity on the nose. More dark, chocolate notes coming from it that seems to really round out the original Jameson into something more complex and nice. A little water opens up some nice berry and dark fruit flavors on palate leaving on a surprisingly short finish. -
Evan Williams White Label Bottled in Bond Bourbon
Bourbon — Kentucky, USA
Reviewed January 8, 2020 (edited January 11, 2020)Really vibrant notes coming off the nose on these tasting. A lot of fruity notes complimented with some nice spice. I definitely picked out something like Banana Pudding but that might just be because I'm hungry. Adding some water brings out the darker, more caramel notes. It definitely warms you up as you swallow it down, leaving a slightly oaky finish on the palate.
