Tastes

Smells so sweet but it has a nice kick to it. Pepper, spice on the tongue, bit of smoke char, wood. Nice long finish. Really enjoyed.

Was a gift, normally have not tasted much flavored whiskeys. This one was enjoyable. The hints of chocolate are very very light, almost unnoticeable. Towards the end once it opens up was really it. To me almost a normal bourbon with just a kiss of chocolate. Try it.

Really enjoyed. First glass neat, room temp. Found it both sweet and hot, spicy. Has typical tasting of vanilla, caramel, boozy, woodsy. Second glass with a cube. Pretty much same but just tamps down the pepper burn on the lips.

Bottle 123, 46.7%. Definitely like this one. I was thinking it would be more mellow and oaky being that it is a 15 year aged but it pretty hot and spicy. Then it shows it’s sweet sugary side. Has just a little smoke char. Both neat and cubed tastings were delicious. I prefer the cube on this one though, seemed to bring out more interesting notes.

Nose smells of oak, sweet, like standing in the barrel room. I thoroughly enjoyed it neat, room temp and also with a cube. Has more flavor and definitely more interesting neat compared to iced. It’s smooth, sweet, and just a hint of spice at the finish.

Sweet and spicy. This one comes in pretty hot. Has some sweetness but quickly gets over run by the barrel strength. I actually thought it was better neat. The cube seems to muddle it up a bit.
