Great whisky. The higher abv gives it a nice kick but isn't boozy. It tastes like dark chocolate covered cherries, but in a good way.

Marvelously balanced with just enough smoke and peat that they are present but not overwhelming. Leather and a shoe polish kit sitting in an old ceader chest. Iodine but not medicinal. Lasts forever in your mouth and upper throat.

Great and affordable. I enjoyed smelling it as much as I enjoyed drinking it. The higher abv made it a little harsh at first, but water messed it up for me. Best to sip it neat and just enjoy the aroma.

Delicious to the taste and very desirable. Try Sam Houston for a more affordable version of the same (perhaps less scotchy) drink.

The fact that it is readily associated with coke in most minds is all you need to know. It mixes well and will intoxicate you, but it isn't good by itself. At least I have a cool bag to put my pennies in.
