My last special birthday dram of a very expensive but enjoyable evening. Couldn’t have asked for a better end to the night. Nose - rye spice of course, but mostly caramel and honey sweetness, cinnamon, tropical fruit Palette - thick and sharp, storing heat and even stronger spice, the caramel is muted but present, some citrus fruits in the background Finish - dry and spicy, strong heat, fruit sweetness at the very end, lingers forever

Another special birthday shot. My wife isn’t a big fan of peat so I’m unlikely to buy a whole bottle. It went beautifully with my lamb. Nose - smoke and iodine of course, oiled leather, briney sea air, some dried apricot, and a bit of brown butter caramel Palette - oily and rich, strong dark smoke at first, the salted caramel starts to show up, some strong spice as well Finish - lingering smoke with spice and mild sweetness, medium burn, slightly dry at the very end

Got to try this at a local restaurant on my 41st Bday, worth the splurge! Nose - cinnamon and cherries right in your face, some spiced vanilla, tangy berries, milk chocolate, some faint mint Palette - oil and thick, heat right away, big spice with some cherry and pecan, a bit of chocolate Finish - lingering dried fruits and heat, strong spices that warm you all the way down
