Nose - big hit of rich chocolate, sweet condensed milk, a bit of juicy pear, a tiny hint of black pepper Palette - thick, rich chocolate again with some slight bitterness, the oak tannins come through more after the first sip but they fade quickly Finish - the sweet chocolate lasts forever, a very faint whiff of bitterness helps keep it in check, mild burn

Nose - sweet brown sugar, caramel, dried fruit, spice Palette - medium bodied, spice forward followed by sweet caramel, Finish - lightly spicy and some mellow bitter tannins, mild burn

Nose - apricot and dark fruits, smooth milk chocolate, some sharp sour notes, a bit of creamy custard Palette - medium body, balance between sweet and dry notes, some sweet fruit and then oak tannins Finish - the dryness hits first at the back of your tongue, then the sweetness lingers for awhile, medium burn

Nose - light smoke and ripe raspberry, some sweet chocolate as well Palette - light body, mild sweet berries, some dry oak spice and tannins Finish - short sweetness fades to oaky dryness, medium burn

Nose - smoked chocolate, a bit of iodine, juicy pear, and some floral notes Palette - oil and smokey, milk chocolate, some sweet fruit and a bit of citrus Finish - smokey sweet, medium length, a bit dry at the end, mild burn

I bought this experimental bottle and another after taking the barrel house tour. It was an awesome small group tasting experience. Nose - spiced honey and cinnamon, strong citrus zest, some vanilla cream as well Palette - silky and medium bodied, spiced mulled oranges, some orange peel as well and creamy vanilla again Finish - spicy sweet and medium length, medium burn

Nose - almonds and cereal, vanilla and a bit of apricot Palette - silky and smooth texture, tropical fruits, apricot and almonds again, some creamy vanilla sweetness as well Finish - sweet and medium length, vanilla lasts the longest, mild burn

Nose - rye spice, citrus juice and peel, some sweeter caramel notes Palette - spice forward both rye and baking, come sweeter vanilla Finish - sweet and spicy but short, mild burn

Nose - caramel and citrus, dark rich toffee, cinnamon and barrel spice, creamy vanilla Palette - silky and rich, spiced caramel, sharp citrus, butter, not overly sweet Finish - the spice lingers for awhile, mild burn
