Glenlivet 12 Year Double Oak
Single Malt — Speyside, Scotland
Reviewed November 15, 2019 (edited October 14, 2023)Much more complex than I remember. Bananas, butterscotch, butter popcorn on the nose. Sweet and standard speyside profile on the palate. Little spice with a big enough sip. Quite good for the price. 12 USD per (again very generous) pour Abbey Rd Pub Va Beach -
Dalwhinnie 15 Year

Michter's US*1 Sour Mash Whiskey
Other Whiskey — Kentucky, USA

Reservoir Holland's Blade Rummer
Bourbon — Virginia, USA
Reviewed November 9, 2019 (edited October 14, 2023)Definitely young and spicy. But after sitting in glass for a bit it toned down a bit. Good flavors - caramel, maple, vanilla. Medium length finish. Not worth the price but I’m happy to have it. -
Glenmorangie Lasanta Sherry Cask Finish 12 Year
Single Malt — Highlands, Scotland
Reviewed November 9, 2019Part of tasting 11.07.19 Pretty good. Best of the four I tried. Sweet and easy drinking. Not as good as other sweeter sherry influenced scorched but enjoyable. 3.25 stars - I might even order this in a bar sometime. Unlikely to buy a bottle.
