Straight maraschino cherries and cream. Amazing bourbon.

Smooth, inoffensive, but also can be unexciting. Safe choice at a new bar.

My favorite Beam offering. Lucky to find some mini bottles well after the demise of the bourbon at Alfies Liquors in my area. Mouthfeel is suprinsgly chewy. Big on oak smoke and spice. Nose is corn. Not as sweet as it smells. Delightful surprise, I usually don't care of Beam stuff.

Nothing complex, but surprisingly sweeter for a rye and very drinkable neat at 100 proof. Followed after JB Black. No weird JB oakiness. Smoother.

A little light on the mouthfeel, but the finish is where all the flavor is. Huge oak notes. The rest is vanilla, and maybe some allspice. Nothing special. Would like to taste side by side with Evan Williams Black. Edit: As it cools with 1 small ice cube this gets weirdly sweet. Too sweet. Dropped to 2 stars from 3.

Tropical notes smash with traditional rye spiciness in a whiskey that is surprisingly whimsical and almost refreashing as a rye. Love it.
