Tastes

Pretty good, but has a licorice note I don’t love.

Nose: honey graham cracker. Taste: maple syrup, sweet desert rye. Finish is a bit short.

Smells awesome: caramel corn and candy corn. Feel the burn of the high proof. Taste dominated by barrel notes and candy sweetness.

Nose: classic bourbon notes of caramel, vanilla, sweet corn. Palate: same sweet flavors in nose come through. Mild rye spice. Get hints of oak barrel in short finish. Easy sipper. Good in an old fashioned. Would buy again at $40-50.

Nose: browned butter, candied walnuts/pecans, wood Taste: sweet, dark chocolate, spicy, oak finish, little too much alcohol heat for my taste.
