Tastes

Nose: Caramel, peanut butter, slight fruit in the back end. Palate: vanilla, oak and leather, follwed by a sweet caramel finish Overall: solid sipping whiskey. Classic notes, bht does not wow me. However, I’d easily keep a bottle on the shelf

Nose: pepper, earthy note, slight chocolate, burnt caramel. Palate: Grassy, malt, dark chocolate, coffee Overall: malty, earthy, and chocolate, very different and reccomend trying, very different.

Nose: bright caramel, cherry, maple, peanut butter, and burnt sugar. Palate: corn, oak, leather, spice, and feint sweetness. Overall: top 5 favorite whiskeys for me. Reccomend 10 times out of 10.

Nose: Caramel, vanilla, feint cinnamon Palate: sweet up front, caramel, dark fruit finish. Overall: solid bourbon overall. Can taste the impact of the wine barrels would reccomend, not iverly complex either

Nose: Floral and leather up front, second nose has almost a smoky note followed by caramel. Palate: Baking spice, vanilla, and caramel. Overall: Very impressive for a whiskey that states “at least 2 years old”. Great complexity with a long finish.

Nose: grain forward with a bit of ethanol. Caramel and vanilla found later on with a bit of apple. Palate: light caramel, sweet, and faint apple note. Not a lptnfo depth after. Overall: its okay, i would not buy again.

Nose: Bright brown sugar, caramel and vanilla bomb along with some butterscotch and toffee. Palate: First taste, caramel, vanilla, pepper, finishing with sweer cinnamon. Second taste, baking spices and vanilla Overall: Contending wiht one of my favorite bourbons of all time. I will be saving the last pour of the Country Ham bottle for a very special occasion.

Nose: Oak, musty, floral, caramel. Palate: first taste, caramel and brown sugar, long finish of sweetness followed by oak. Second tatse, floral and sweet. Overall: If you like weller, you will love this bottle (if you can get your hands on it). Would i pah secondary? No. However, its simple, but excellent.

Nose: Vanilla and oak, a bit musty. Hints of peanut and cherry. Palate: First tatse, Vanilla and cinnamon. Second taste, Mint and rye spice, which is quite pleasant. Overall: solid bourbon, but nothing thats sticks out to me. The mint and rye spice finish is a nice touch, but you have to go digging for it. I would reccomend, but would also reccomend many others before this one.

Nose: Dark fruit, strong cherry, caramel, brown sugar, and vanilla. Palate: oak, spice, fruit, and vanilla sweetness. Nice long finish, barrell tannins come through at the end. Overall: To preface this review, 1792 is my favorite line of bourbon. This 12 year is reinforcing my love for this brand, but in a different way. Typically I am expecting high rye clasic notes for small batch and bannana forward for single barrell or BIB. This 12 year is dark fruit forward and delicious. I like how this has a unique taste compared to the other brand expression. Highly reccomend.
