Tastes

Nose: faint caramel, oak, musty nose. Palate: Leather dominant followed by sweet tobacco. Overall: incredible in my opinion. Not very sweet, but rich barrel tasting notes.

Nose: Banana Bread Palate: vanilla and spice, followed by malt dominant, and then finished with the banana bread. Overall: I really enjoy this whiskey, but classic Woodford drinkers may not.

Nose: Vanilla, oak, and light fruit, and a musty note. Palate: Vanilla bomb upfront, cinnamon and caramel. Overall: pleasant, but not much depth and not worth the money.

Nose: Honey and spice, hidden with rye floral notes. Palate: vanilla and cinnamon, followed by baking spices and anise. Medium finish. Overall: One of my favorite ryes. A good rye for a beginner to try as it not rye dominant.

Nose: Cherry, chocolate, spices, and toffee/caramel. Palate: Caramel, coffee, oak, and spice. Overall: Basically now my go to bourbon. Love drinking neat or pairs real well with a smoked old fashioned.

Nose: sweet nose right off the bat, toffee or caramel followed by classic BT wheat recipe notes. Leathery on the back side. Palate: Briny, sweet fruit, oak, followed by spice. Overall: incredible. If you’re lucky enough to have the opportunity to try this, don’t miss it.

Nose: Cinnamon, caramel, brown sugar, light hints of apple. Palate: Brown sugar and cinnamon, with a medium finish. Overall: An easy drinker with a medium finish but lack of complexity.

Nose: Sweet earthy notes, fruit and caramel. Peat is not dominant. Refreshing nose. Palate: Earthy/vegetal upfront followed by chocolate and caramel, finishing with the sherry notes. Overall: One of my favorite whiskeys to date.

Nose: Oak and bright cherry, small hints of vanilla: Palate: vanilla, oak, and spice with slight fruit. Overall: one of my favorites. Can never ever go wrong with ER.
