Still Austin The Musician Single Barrel Cask Strength Bourbon
Bourbon — Texas, USA
Reviewed April 1, 2024 (edited April 26, 2024)Nose: Musty oak, floral, chocolate, and a bright fruit note. Palate: Caramel, cherry, black peper, and leather. Finish is long with a fight between vanilla and bakikg spice. Super sweet, but balanced by the learher and spice notes. Overall: I am a big fan of this whiskey. Like my last review, I am incredibly impressed since this age statement is minimum of 2 years. However, I believe the Texas heat provides a quicker aging process and the team down at Still Austin have done an excellent job with grain selection. Would highly reccomend.80.0 USD per BottleTotal Wine & More -
Nose: Butterscotch and bright caramel dominate the nose. Palate: Oak, chocolate, leather are the main flavors i get with flashes of brown susar and caramel. Overall: I love the nose on this whiskey. The taste is great as well, but different than the nose by a good amount. Would drink again and great price overall.

RD One Bourbon Finished with Brazilian Amburana Wood
Bourbon — Kentucky, USA
Reviewed January 30, 2024 (edited February 9, 2024)Nose: The nose reminds me of cinnamon toast my mom would make me as a kid. Fresh cinnamon, maple syrup, and buttery vanilla. The finishing note is fresh apple, almost like apple cider. Palate: vanilla, brown sugar, apple, and cinnamon. Overall: To preface; I have never had an Amburana finsihed bourbon. This is one of the best things i have ever had. I’ve never had something such clear characteristics for tasting notes. This is dessert in a glass and I will buy this bottle each time I see it. Drinks very well for 110 proof.39.99 USD per BottleLiquor City Uncorked -
Nose: Cherry and caramel, vanilla, followed by pepper. Palate: Brown sugar, toffee, vanilla right up front. Followed by a long and spicy finish, rounding out with classic caramel notes. Overall: Excellent flavor. The overall profile sticks to classic, but is well balanced. The high rye percentage adds a good but of spice well needed. I am interested to see how this Texas aged whiskey compares to other Indiana distilled products using this mashbill.39.99 USD per Bottle

Nose: Chocolate and caramel uo front. After a sip, the oak shines through in the nose. Palate: Brown sugar and oak, followed by leather and a long vanilla finish. Barrel tannins are not over powering. Overall: Classic bourbon. Oak and sweetness with a nice punch. Very well balanced.Costco Wholesale

Nose: mustiness on the nose initially, barrel tanins, floral, small hints of caramel. Palate: Leather and pepper up front. Not too sweet on the palate, but finishes with a little bit of vanilla. Overall: not my favorite, but has potential. I think this is lacking the sweetness that I typiclaly enjoy. I reccomend watching the Whisky Vault review of this on YouTube while tasting.34.99 USD per BottleGoody Goody Liquor
