Super layered, so much so that I’m having a hard time pinning down permanent notes. Generally on the nose I’m getting some lemon/apple citrus while also on a beach with a leftover fire in the morning (weird but it’s what I’m getting). Also some vanilla-butterscotch. Tasting it it’s more subdued but briny, slightly sweet, like desiccated fruit. With a lingering sea breeze. But again, I’m getting something new every time I go in.59.0 USD per Bottle

WhistlePig 6 Year PiggyBack Rye
Rye — (bottled in) Vermont, Canada
Reviewed March 18, 2021 (edited May 8, 2021)On the nose I get sweet cinnamon, vanilla, cereal. Tasting it the cinnamon stays but also with chewing gum and some lemon peel. Spicy and oily throughout. Lingering finish. Pretty decent rye though maybe a tad pricier than other types of the same caliber.50.0 USD per Bottle -
I love this. The nose is vanilla and vacillates between red vines and cherrywood. If I let it sit for a second I get maple on the nose. On the taste I get vanilla upfront that quickly explodes with candied green apples/ green tea. The aftertaste lingers with opines and spiciness. Absolutely great value for a 50 proof rye.28.0 USD per Bottle
