Reviewed December 23, 2024 (edited December 31, 2024)Nose is great with vanilla oak and spice on the nose. Palate starts with some vanilla and spice. A wave of cinnamon heat ends in a fruity candy apple finish with some toasted oak/tobacco. -

Blind taste N: brown sugar, vanilla, faint oak. P: Very smooth and not a lot of complexity. Starts with some grain/cereal notes, butterscotch, and honest/syrup. No heat at all. F: very smooth with some honey and almost like an apple or watermelon jolly rancher. Overall, solid but not much to it. Would like more spice. 90 proof guess. 3.75

Reviewed December 22, 2024 (edited December 30, 2024)Blind taste N: not very strong. Light oak, some ethanol, some vanilla as it mellows. P: Starts with some vanilla, gives way to baking spices and cinnamon that lingers and rolls around the tongue, and fades to some cherry or licorice fruit notes (very nice spice profile). F: spices and the fruit sweetness mix perfectly for a balanced smooth finish. Much more complex overall than the nose. -
