Blind tasting - my favorite of the night N: Toasted marshmallow, some chocolate/hot cocoa, citrus P: Like having a s’more.. toasted marshmallow, chocolate, citrus, rye spice. Would be perfect next to a camp fire F: Good blast of heat, previous notes follow Incredible sipper. One of my favorite ryes

Blind tasting N: Fruity and floraly P: Follows the nose with heavy notes of dark fruit like cherry, candy apple, floral notes, and light vanilla sweetness F: very smooth and the sweet from the fruits and vanilla lingers

Blind tasting N: nearly non existent, faint fruit, vanilla P: Not much going on. Smooth with hints of fruit and vanilla, some rye spice F: Pretty straight forward with light spice some sweetness Overall, its fine, great in a cocktail though

N: Smells incredible. A lot of rye spice notes with some cinnamon/baking spices and citrus. P: Wave of rye spice with a great balance of mint, citrus, butterscotch, oak, and all kinds of spices F: The spices continue to linger, mild heat, very smooth, some sweetness Overall this is really great

N: very earthy, leather, rye, tobacco, smokiness P: Rye, toasted oak, good heat and burn F: the blast of heat lingers and stays on the tongue for a while. Fades into toasted oak and rye spice with light vanilla as it mellows

N: cocoa powder, oak, wheat, vanilla P: starts with a good blend of heat and sweet. Toasted oak, cinnamon, baking spices. Ends with some chocolate and brown sugar notes with a little smokiness. As it mellows I get some coffee. F: fairly smooth for a barrel proof. Heat warms the throat and lingers Very good

Blind taste N: heavy oak, some spice, vanilla P: oak, cinnamon spice, vanilla, blast of heat in the back F: blast of heat that fades with a longer cinnamon, pepper spice. Toasted oak and some maple

Blind taste N: not much of a nose. Some citrus notes come through, some faint vanilla P: very smooth and light, candy apple, some caramel. Pretty straightforward and not complex. No heat. F: Sort of reminds me of a caramel apple sucker It’s very sweet without much heat. Smooth. Very good

Blind taste N: nice mix of oak, baking spices, vanilla, cinnamon P: starts with vanilla, baking spices, some caramel, moderate heat F: blast of heat that ends with a long vanilla sweetness
