    On the nose, it smells of corn and grain alcohol. On the tongue, most definitely ginger with a heavy burn in the back. Probably better as a mixer.

    For a cheap bottle of brandy, it’s not bad although on the sweet side like sugar sweet not particularly fruit forward. It definitely has an alcoholic burn in the back and throughout the chest. Probably a better mixer than neat. This brandy will definitely keep you warm on col nights drinking it neat. I actually like the taste of this BiB over a few whiskey BiB.

    On the nose definitely of caramel and candy. On the tongue, it is very sweet more of a caramel soda. It is not an overly complex rum. Better as a mixer.

    A little caramel on the nose. It is sweet, unusually light-bodied and disappointingly average. It’s a bit overpriced for what it is. You can get better whiskey (and Irish whiskey) at this price point.

    On the nose, it smells of caramel, oregano and hints of anise. On the palate, heavy on sweet corn, butter, spices and a mild afterburn. Pretty good pour.

    On the nose, there is ethanol and butter. On the palate, I taste black licorice, baking spices and caramel. I don’t taste much fruit as they say on the label. This is one of the better budget Scotch whiskeys as I’ve had far worse.
