Really solid whiskey at 101. Not overwhelming at that proof. On the nose, notes of caramel. On the palate, sweetness with a glimpse of a burn.

Peach on the nose and palate. Solid campfire drink or mixer. Would do well with iced tea.

On the nose, strong whiff of alcohol and buttery caramel. On the tongue, much more subdued of caramel, mint and corn. Kind of like a young Old Forester as one reviewer said minus the herbal taste or a subtle Rebel Yell with a slightly better bite. Solid campfire drink.

One of my favorite expressions of Jack Daniels whiskey myself. Sweet, tastes of honey, a touch of spiciness and not overtly heavy on the oak. Enjoyable with sweetened iced tea, and pleasant summer sipper.

Kind of medicinal and spicy bourbon. There are complex layers in this bourbon no doubt there. However, the bourbon portion is lost to me. There is no inherent sweetness. Overall, a good solid bourbon but a bit overrated.

Not bad for a flavored whiskey. Drinkable, sippable but probably best mixed with some sweetened iced tea or cooking in pies and pastries. It would probably do for some summer camping.

Not bad for the price. Appreciably on the nose and oaky, a touch spicy and a touch of caramel on the mouth. Very solid afterburn for a whiskey. Solid overall. Not quite as potent as Devil’s Cut.

Prune, raisins and alcohol on the nose. On the palate, it runs slightly hot with vanilla, soda, prunes and raisins. Decent but probably needs to be mixed with either Dr. Pepper or Coke. I probably wouldn’t buy again.

On the nose, definitely smells like banana and maybe anise. On the tongue, it tastes of funkiness (like rum) and ginger with a mild burn. To me, it’s okay, but I’d rather buy a Jamaican rum or the Irish whiskey 2 Gingers over this to get a similar taste.
