What long necks? This ain't no honey as expected from the 10 + 4 Quinta Ruban (the original plus some finishing) nor as refined as should come from those long necked stills. A solid Glenmorangie any day of the week.

Not bad for an affordable blend of "Malt and grain". I hope I have a chance one day to try the original version of this "world" whisky as it is said to be vatted with molasses, of all things. I'll make sure to look for the dark label if I ever make it back to Nippon territory.

I must admit I liked the Select edition a lot better, but please don't be confused, this is a solid Nikka with a strong palate I certainly did not expect.

Yes. I did like the Artist Blend quite a lot. Then again, I'm yet to meet a Compass Box I haven't.

Awwww, this is such a classic and awesome dram. A+++. If you don't like peated Malts, you will probably still go for this one on a night looking for change.

Espectacular! This is as close as you'll get to the Yamazaki 18 as you'll ever get. Maybe you don't even need to.
