Tastes

I get notes of prune and vanilla. A lot of spicy overtones. Cinnamon. Clove.

Lots of cherry pepper notes. A bit of green pepper and and candy cane. Nose has a little bark and earthiness.

Lots of sweet almost marshino cherries on the top. And so you really have to like understand the wind condition almost a cough syrup nature to it, but in a good way. A bit of celery and green pepper.

A bit of spiciness for sure. Runs out as you go through the glass. Almost a bit of wheated note of sweetness over the top. A little bit of petrol on the finish.

Quite a lot of vanilla and wood on the nose, with a hint of cherry. The body comes across as quite earthy, with almost a hint of mushroom amongst the Sherry notes. It is sweet, with hints of butterscotch and coffee coming into round out the finish. Advantages rather quickly leaving behind vanilla bean.

Rye whiskey it's just not for me. I get a very rubbery and oily note overall. Same as the high-rise basil hayden. Probably other ryes as well. The Sherry is a nice sweet dark cherry note in the backbone. It grows on you through the glass with notes of cinnamon and Rose water.

I get a lot of corn on the body. A little bit of sweetness in the middle of carries through a caramel flavor to the end. Red fruit notes across the top, like strawberries. But hint of rhubarb as well. Finish is fairly harsh and has notes of rubber.

Slightly banana on the nose. Body initially hits with a bunch of old and a little bit of pepper. Lots of sweet Stone fruit notes like fresh peach. As it transitions to the finish, I get peanut butter for days. Lots of nuttiness from the wood, and it's just peanut butter after peanut butter too close out the glass, and continues to linger. Would put in the category of a dessert, rather than a sipper.

Tons of smooth creamy butterscotch at the front. A bit of spiced apple and caramel in the middle. Then interesting, lightly Jasmine note, and then middle of the finish. But I really keep coming back to that initial suite smooth and creamy, with a hint of vanilla, butterscotch at the beginning.

An interesting nose, with a bit of spice. Sweet. Body is where the vanilla hits and a bit of wood. Quite smooth with slightly smokey undertones.
