A nice sweet tobacco body, not dissimilar to a cigar malt. Deep notes of dark chocolate in background with lots of dark red cherries on top. Finish is subtlety smokey.

Nose is slightly waxy, with a touch of orange zest. Dark, earthy body of peat and plums. Slightly salty with a touch of white peach. Smooth with loads of sweet with a hint of vanilla.

Don't appreciate this much at all. The initial spiciness and caramel gives way to an almost plastic flavor profile that leaves the mouth feeling grainy and with an oily and metallic taste.

A nice nose, but a more meaty body. Rich spices that added a bit of heat to a smooth dram. Lots of smoke and cinnamon on the finish.

Interesting notice, with a bit of funk. Vanilla and butterscotch on the nose. Body is quite sweet with a lot of butterscotch and caramel. Smooth.

The red wine from the finishing really takes this over. Closer to a fortified red wine than a whiskey. You feel the tannins immediately and the finish is as if you just had a glass of merlot. If you're in the mood for a red wine, but also whiskey, then do this.
