Reviewed April 11, 2017 (edited February 7, 2018)Whisky Tasting August 2016: Superb. Back tasted against Johnny Walker Black, Green, Blue and it all of them out into orbit. The initial nose and subsequent bloom upon first taste is startling. Absolutely superb. Superb twice, means I like this. -
Whisky Club July2016: pleasantly full and crisp scotch, somewhat traditional in palate. Back tasted it against a Macallan 12 and much preferred the Macallan. Where the Macallan offered subtlety and nuance to its slate, the Bushmills made do with a sledgehammer and a wrecking a nice scotch and one I'll have on the shelf for cold winter nights, with a good hearty pie.
