The nose is full of granular brown sugar, but still fresh. Not caramel but a little butterscotch. A little fruity (maybe). The taste is....well....thin. The rum cask is very nice, but besides that, there's not a lot. Virtually no finish. Just disappears. Would recommend as a warm up before drinking fancy whiskies.5.0 USD per Pour

My nose is out right now but the scent has some traces of wafer cookies and honey. Maybe a little spiky vegetation. Bit young maybe? Taste is silky smooth but not thin. Traces of a clove apple. The spikiness is still there so I still think young. Not dramatic but enjoyable. Probably won't reach for it too often, but will have to try again when my nose is back.6.0 USD per Pour

Rare Perfection 15 Year Cask Strength Canadian Whisky
Canadian — Canada
Reviewed September 7, 2020 (edited October 10, 2020)On the nose, it's cake, perfume, and a bit of harsh cleaning solution. It smells like something unexpected. Almost an uneasy marriage. The taste is still very sweet, but a little richer than the nose, with some clingy sharp oil coating the palate making this a little more interesting. Strawberries. Vanilla. And even some apricots make an appearance. It's definitely different, but probably not one of the greats.184.0 USD per Bottle -
The Nose is classic Bourbon but somehow softer. Toasted Vanilla. Marshmallow. With some light dustiness sweeping through. The taste though, oh the taste. All of sudden there's peanut butter. But a sweet, creamy, candied peanut butter. In fact, a Nutterbutter cookie wouldn't be too far off, with oil just swimming in directions you don't expect. You expect wood at this age. Not candy.160.0 USD per Bottle

The nose is incredibly floral, bursting with honey and all kinds of tropical fruits, yet still with a sense of richness. The taste is honey and citrus with a hint of caramel toffee, but the finish is very short. Almost nothing in fact, with the only mouth feel staying towards the front of the palate. An enjoyable if unmemorable dram.55.0 USD per Bottle

The nose is sweet, with hints of caramel and citrus. It feels young and green but not unpleasant, returning to a sweet and syrupy sensation. The taste is light but syrupy. French toast and dry lemon with hints of vanilla. It's young and a bit aggressively green. Almost like it's kicking you to be taken seriously. A refreshing malt, but perhaps not for all occasions.12.5 USD per Pour

The nose is soft, wafting hints of vanilla, caramel, and rye spice, although most of it gets swept under a coating of dust. The taste is surprisingly sweet. Lots of candied red cherries with subtle hints of vanilla and little bit of oak on the end. Really though, it's a one-note cherry bomb that doesn't take itself too seriously.60.0 USD per Bottle
