Sweet vanilla dominates the nose with a tiny hint of ethanol. Sweet again on the palate with baking spice nutmeg and cinnamon sugar. Light toasted brioche shows more in the finish. Simple but clean and flavorful.

Stunning! Stunning! Stunning! Rich sweet orchard fruit accenting bing cherries, dried tobacco, plantain bananas and wet moss. Classic lagavulin ocean iodine and smoked venison layer over the fruit notes. A terrific whisky and the best edition I’ve had so far.

Shockingly fantastic! Slightly reserved nose of pecan pie and vanilla. On the palate rich orchard fruit and sweet vanilla dominate. Rich and full and drinks well above its price.

Wow what a nose! Grilled vanilla bean and roasted chocolate with a touch of ocean brine. Insanely tropical. On the palate there’s sweet vanilla and taffy that gives way to charcoal grilled meats. Intense and powerful.

Soft nose of candied nuts and overripe bananas. Oak influence is obvious on the palate. Vanilla and mild cinnamon with blackened peanuts and hints of black cherry. The finish is fairly quick. There’s a surprisingly small amount of red fruit for a port finished whisky.

Soft toffee, chamomile and light smoke on the nose with hints of almond extract. On the palate it remains incredibly unctuous and rich. The peat is woven in with bright orange peel citrus and light minerality. Super drinkable, but I’m not sure it would every live up to it’s price.

Sweet corn and maraschino cherry on the nose. Carries through on the palate with soft spice and red fruit. Solid for the price.

Soft caramel nose with dried orange mint. Luscious creamy texture with heavy oak notes. Toasted hazelnut and vanilla finish with crushed peanuts and clove. Finished the bottle WAY too quickly.

Strong aromas of fresh cut oak and French vanilla. Continues through the palate. Simple, raw, and fairly unappealing.

Thin and faint on the nose. A little bit of raw hazelnut riding over light honey, vanilla and lanolin. Rich and buttery on the palate with golden raisin and dried cherry. It ramps up to darker plum character towards the finish. Incredibly clean on the finish with everything melding together beautifully!
