Tastes

Kind of a "lady's whiskey". Very smooth, kind of fruity with a long creamy finish. Altough that is not exaclty my favourite style I really enjoyed it.

Good, but after Jim Murray 's extremely positive notes on Japanese whiskies I expected a true wonder. Well, at least for me no wonder here. Don't get me wrong - this is a good, rich whisky, maybe bit to sharp and quick finishing. But it is neither better nor worse then most of the Scotchs. Easy drinking tough :)

Sweet, plain and with quick finish. Do not expect anything extraordinary here.

Bourbon at it's best. Absolute classic, rough and kind of wild. I don't get how can it be so underrated. This is a a real bourbon for real men. (80PLN)

Of all the classics - this is my favourite one. Far better than the white label version.

Now this is something special. Sweet, but oaky. With some extra flavours (vanilla, muscovado, spices) that appear for just a while and fade. And then some new tastes appear (corn, fruits). Got addicted to this one. Magical! (150PLN - promo)

JD. I think there's nothing left to comment. I really enjoy JD on the rocks tough - it is for me like a benchmark for other bourbons.
