Very interesting whisky. It is fresh both in nose and taste, soft and well-balanced. On one hand there are distinctive smoky drams, but overall the peat balances well with fresh, fruity aromas. Overall this is very light, smooth and fresh whisky, but there is a mysterious factor in it. I really recommend it! (190PLN)

Wild Turkey Kentucky Straight Bourbon
Bourbon — Kentucky, USA
Reviewed June 13, 2016 (edited July 25, 2016)Really good stuff for this price. In my opinion however it's "bigger" (101 proof) brother is by far better and more complex. 81 however is a decent, easy - drinking bourbon - with a lots of sweat and corny aromas and a long corny finish (60PLN). -
Another peat giant. It smells like swamp. Swamp, seaweed, salt water and smoke. Lots of it. And in the palate this smoke rules it all. It it not a gentle, smooth smoke breeze - it is a dense smoky cloud overwhelming all the other flavors. Yet the feeling when this smoky oil pours over your tongue is hard to compare with anything. And then comes the finish - peat and smoke fades and is replaced by tar and some medicinal tastes. Class for itself. 5 stars. (140PLN)

Wonderful! For the time being this is the best ever whisky I had tasted. Perfectly balanced, rich and oily. In nose - peat. Lots of it. Palate - even more peat - but, somehow, this is not overwhelming the other tastes - fruit, chocolate, vanila, salty water. And peat smoke again. Actually when I think of it now, few hours after actually tasting Uigeadail I can still feel the peat. In finish - oily, mellow, with almost no burn (and this is 54,2%!). I wonder - can peat whisky get any better then Ardbeg Uigeadail? (290PLN)

Glenfiddich 12 Year
Single Malt — Speyside, Scotland
Reviewed June 6, 2016 (edited November 10, 2016)Ah, I always enjoy this one - very refreshing, fruity fragrance. The palate is somewhat sweet, fruity with some distinctive nuts tastes. And a glimpse of oak too. Very nice summertime whisky.
