    The nose is amazing! However on the palate i find a note i can't quite put my finger on. While I'm not a fan of this straight i have found that it makes one hell of a manhatten!

    A text book example of barrel integration. The wood and char influence are perfect. Carmel and vanilla are found on the palate as well and benifit from the barrel flavors. This bourbon is meant to be enjoyed neat. No adulteration necessary.

    The malt is the star on this one, which is to be expected as its all malt in the bottle. I find this walker to be too sweet, however the smooth honey on the nose and again on the palate is quite enjoyable. Malt lovers rejoice over this one while it lasts.

    Fantastic cereal notes on the nose, and the palate brings so much more! Sweetness, citrus and the return of those cereral notes and the proofing is just right with a slight burn on the back of the palate. Great Irish whisky. Highly recomended.

    A good intermediate bourbon. Spice is readily appearent on the nose as well as the palete. While not as complex as some other bourbouns (think elijah craig) still enough flavor to enjoy neat (i've used this to indoctranate new boubon drinkers with moderate sucess).

    Slight spice and cereal notes. This is my "go to" Canadian whiskey and will be for a long time as you will be hard pressed to find a better bottle at this price range.

    Slightly more grown up than the standard black label (personally i can't tell the difference). Jack fans love this one but i think its just a gimmick. Stick to the original and save some money.

    My favorite four roses! A great single barrell at a decent price. Strong spice presence yet smooth enough to enjoy on a regular basis. A must try for the single barrell lovers out there.
