Macallan 12 Year Sherry Oak Cask
Single Malt — Highlands, Scotland
Reviewed May 17, 2014 (edited July 7, 2015)Loads of sweetness. The sherry takes center stage with this one. Sweetness is not my favorite in scotch but this one is complex enough to enjoy even if you're a peat fan. Remarkably dark for a 12 year old. A nice everyday luxury dram. -
Russell's Reserve 10 Year Bourbon
Bourbon — Kentucky, USA
Reviewed April 14, 2014 (edited December 25, 2014)A little light for my taste. Nice notes of vanilla has a pleasing cinnamon burn. Finish is light and quick. -
High West Rendezvous Rye
Rye — (bottled in) Utah, USA
Reviewed April 11, 2014 (edited September 4, 2014)Vanilla with mint to start, then a nice warm bath of spice on the palate mostly cinnamin. Long full finish. Great finish as flavors linger on the back of your tounge.
