Tastes

Nose: Cereal grain, herbal notes, coconut, brown sugar, vanilla, and spice. Palate: Earthy and herbaceous, clove, coconut, underripe banana, cinnamon and honey. A bit disjointed overall. Tastes like it could use a bit more time in the rum casks to develop the flavors more.

Nose: Vanilla cupcake, caramel, oak, spice, and stewed peaches. Palate: Sweet vanilla, baking spices, peaches, caramel, toasted oak. Peach pie with whipped cream in a glass.

Nose: Cherry, caramel, oak, graham cracker, and slight banana as is usual with Old Forester. Palate: Caramelized banana, vanilla, baking spices, almond, cherry, and oak. Great daily sipper.

Nose: Butterscotch, rye spice, cinnamon, vanilla cream, gingerbread. Palate: Orange and vanilla upfront - similar to a orange creamsicle, rye spice, brown sugar, oak, and cinnamon. Love the spice kick that this bourbon gives from start to finish!

Nose: Vanilla bean, oak, toffee, maple syrup, orange, and cinnamon. Very complex and smells wonderful. Can’t wait to dig in. Palate: Caramel, chocolate covered orange, maple syrup, baking spices throughout, and oak. Damn delicious! Hoping I can get another bottle.

Nose: Vanilla, cherry, and sugar cookies. I do pick up the distinct Old Forester banana note that I love as well. Palate: Banana bread with vanilla icing, cherry and caramel notes are also in there on the initial sip. Coconut and oak notes hit the palate in later sips.

Nose: Peanut shells, caramel, corn, vanilla, and oak. Very aromatic on the nose. Palate: Salted peanut shells as soon as it hits the tongue. Followed by a big bite of cinnamon red hots. Brown sugar, vanilla, and orange a few more sips into the glass.
