Tastes

Nose: Vanilla, chocolate, orange, caramel, apple, and cardamom. Palate: Vanilla, caramel, apple, cardamom. Very similar to the nose - essentially caramel apple spice in a glass. Some cocoa hints on the palate coming through. Toasted wood tones are there too. Creamy mouthfeel that lingers on that palate.

Nose: Cinnamon, licorice, vanilla, apple, orange, honey, rosemary, and almonds. Smells like a nice rye. Palate: Vanilla, butterscotch, orange syrup, lots of cinnamon, pepper, and clove.

Nose: Cherries, vanilla, maple syrup, oak, rye bread, caramel, cinnamon, and allspice. Palate: Vanilla, maple syrup, caramel, cinnamon bears, allspice, black pepper, and slight mint.

Nose: Brown sugar, vanilla cream, cinnamon, oak, clove, prunes, and raisins. Palate: Butterscotch, orange peel, brown sugar, raisins, oak, and vanilla.

Nose: Caramel, honey, vanilla, oak, cherry, and a nice sweetness. I can even pick up a grape soda like note that is pretty pleasing. Palate: Cherry pie and vanilla cream - light on the palate.

Nose: Vanilla, maple syrup, honey, and oak. Palate: Maple syrup and vanilla, toasted oak, cinnamon, tobacco, and hints of apple.

Nose: Walnuts, fresh cut grass, cloves, and caramel. More floral on the nose than sweet. Palate: Green tea, walnuts, orange zest, slight caramel which provides a bit of sweetness towards the end. Unfortunately not a fan of this. A very floral heavy bourbon that has a bit of caramel sweetness on the finish which seems to be its only redeeming quality to me.

Nose: Toasted marshmallow, vanilla, milk chocolate, caramel, marzipan, and cherry. Palate: Toasted marshmallow and toasted oak, caramel, vanilla, and dark chocolate covered cherries.

Nose: Caramel, brown sugar, cookie dough, vanilla, oak, and cinnamon. Palate: Heavy vanilla upfront, brown sugar, custard, cinnamon, cherry, black pepper with the tingle towards the end. Overall somewhat like French toast topped with cherries.

Nose: Cocoa powder, vanilla, marshmallow fluff, oak, spice, cinnamon, caramel, and apple. Palate: Caramel apple, cinnamon, vanilla, toffee, toasted oak, black pepper, and red cherry. Love the MGP high rye mashbill and this one doesn’t disappoint.
