Elmer T. Lee Single Barrel Bourbon
Bourbon — Kentucky, USA
Reviewed December 18, 2023 (edited January 29, 2024)Way over hyped! Its just ok. I see this bourbon going for over $200 on secondary market and its worth only retail. Do not pay secondary cost you will be disappointed. Those that rate this bourbon 4 stars or higher are only doing so becasue of the hype and the secondary cost they paid for it. If you see it retail buy it but don’t waste your money buying it over retail. There are much better bourbons avaible in the $50 range. DO NOT PAY MARKED UP COST FOR THIS BOURBON YOU WILL BE SORRY!!45.0 USD per Bottle -
This is just an average bourbon at best. Don’t buy into the hype. There are better bourbons for much less than what you’ll pay for this secondary. Good luck finding Weller 12 for retail. Its a $50 bourbon and thats all it’s worth. There are far better bourbons that are not being price gouged yet. But its hard to find a 12 year old bourbon. If you see it for retail price buy it, but dont pay secondary price. Its not worth secondary price. Don’t let the hype fool you.

Bourbon — Indiana (aged in Mississippi), USA
Reviewed February 17, 2023Spicy pepper, cinnamon taste that is exceptionally smooth for 122.3 proof. Thumbs up.100.0 USD per Bottle -
I was surprised. Not expecting anything from this but must say I liked the pour. Light amber color, sweet floral smell with hint of smoke thats not overpowering. Light smooth smoking oak taste, mild pepperish finish. Got it as a gift and was not expecting much but I was surprised. Its not fantastic but above expectations. Worth a try.

Elmer T. Lee Single Barrel Bourbon
Bourbon — Kentucky, USA
Reviewed March 3, 2022 (edited April 13, 2022)Another over hyped over priced average bourbon. Don’t get caught up in all the hype. If you find it at retail buy it but most will try to gouge you for it. It’s not worth the high secondary price! It’s only worth the retail price. Everyone that says this a great bourbon is caught up in the hype. Its not great. -
Bought a bottle Of Missouri Select Barrel Strength Toasted and really enjoyed it. 115 proof Dark Amber color in the glass. Mild sweet toasted hint on the nose. Very easy sipping, sweet taste on the tongue and spicy finish that lasted through a warm Kentucky hug. I paid $60 for the bottle and would buy again. Thumbs up its a buy!

Weller Full Proof Bourbon
Bourbon — Kentucky, USA
Reviewed October 15, 2021 (edited December 26, 2021)Over rated just like all Weller whiskey. Impossible to find on the shelf at retail. Larceny barrel proof is better, easier to find and you don’t have to pay secondary prices. If you find WFP for retail its a buy but do not pay secondary prices, you will be disappointed and you could have bought so much more for your money -
