    The nose is great and held a lot of promise of fruits and spice and on the palate it's still there (especially the spice) but hollows out and almost watery at first contact

    Starts of light crisp and then the sweetness and beautiful spice kicks in nicely. A lot closer to the Yamazaki 12 as compared to the hakushu distillers which is quite way off the hakushu 12.

    Promising on the nose with fruitcake but it's one dimensional and let's down on the palate. Fruity, spicy, sweet yet smooth with no burn. Plenty of better 18 yr olds at this similar price point.

    Nose is full of fruits and nutty. On the palate it just wipes it clean with bursting fruits and a little spice. Finish is outstanding

    Sweet sherry on the nose and also the palate with a little spice and salt . The finish is also short but rounded. A drop or 2 kills the burn but doesn't do justice anymore.

    Slightly vegetal on the nose (which isn't my liking) but very drinkable. The peat is not overwhelming as I thought it would be and the smoke is balanced
