Nose: Christmas cake, honey, Taste: honey. No very complex for a 15 year whisky. Smooth easy drinking enjoyable dram. 20 years ago, it was Glendronach 15 that got me into drinking whisky.

Breakfast in a bottle, maple syrup on oatmeal with a coffee finish. A unique whiskey that I really like. My first 2 bottles were bought several years ago at the distillery. I was told in 2019, it was discontinued but happy to seen on my local stores shelf in 2021

Solid Islay whiskey, surprised that the write up says it is 35% Laphroaig. Nose: Seaweed brine, smoke, honey Palate: honey and smoked meat Finish: sweet smoke Overall, nice peaty whiskey but I prefer Ardbeg 10 or Laphroaig 10 for about the same price But for variety, I'm happy to have bought the bottle. Update: with Ardbeg 10 and Laphroaig 10 now over $60/bottle this is now a bargain whiskey at $50.

Nice Islay whisky but way overpriced if this was $10 more than Correyvecken maybe I'd be able me OK. Nose BBQ smoke, brine, young malt whisky Taste Sweet BBQ sauce, smoked ham Finish smoke, sweet, tart sourness of young malt whisky

American Islay. Sweet and smokey. More expensive than the OG. Ardbeg 10 and not as complex but for a Peated American it is great. Maybe better Peated American but not at this price. I love Balcones Peated and Westland buI keep buying this as a daily sipper.

Nose: Floral Rye notes, Texas oak Palate:sweet, molasses, spicy pablano pepper, Finish: sweet, green pepper, cocoa I'd had this before but tasting next to other Balcones product brings out other floral & vegetal notes

Nose:smoke, molasses Taste:sweet smokey BBQ sauce, peppery finish. Finish: oaky, dry tannic then changing to sweetness then peppery burnt ends from a Texas brisket. Continues as smoldering fireplace. If you like smoke, this is for you

This is Peat20-1. Like standing next to a Hill Country Texas BBQ pit when they open it up to cut off your pound of brisket. Nose: Smokey, more BBQ smoke than Scottish peat. Taste: is more smoke and molasses based BBQ sauce, butterscotch. finish is sweet, then dries to more smoke. It's pricey but great if you like smokey whiskey. Even more smokey than Brimstone, not as peppery. Didn't think you could get more smokey than Brimstone but this is it. Makes Octomore seems tame...

Tastes much younger 12 years Nose, honey Taste: honey, a touch of sourness Solid whiskey but I don't get much peat. If you like peat, then give it a pass. If you like Speyside whiskey, then thismight a change of pace. I've enjoyed it so far but I can buy Ardbeg 10 for the same price and I love Ardbeg

Nose - Honey, bit of smoke Taste _ malt & honey, fruit (peaches? ) smokey. Finish; smokey honey Nice daily sipper. Happy to drink home state single malt. I first tasted this almost 2 years ago and thought it was dreadful with a terrible young malt sourness. They have greatly improved since then.
