Classic Heaven Hill Vanilla and caramel nose Sweet sugar, vanilla Palate. Finish; Harsh young corn whiskey burn and finish that I get especially from young Heaven Hill products. Spurge and spend the extra ten buck on Elljah Craig 94 proof

Nose, Alcohol, vanilla, caramel. Classic bourbon nose Palate:Vanilla, caramel, once again classic bourbon Finish: this where the Rye kicks in. Hot alcohol and cinnamon burn, peppery rye, a bit of dill. Not big Rye fan, Pikesville has been my favorite especially for $50 price. Rare Breed Rye is great pour and deserves the great reviews ot gets. Can't wait to taste it against Pikesville

Nose: dill pickle, baking spices Palate: caramel, Rye spicy bite Finish: floral Nice to revisit this. I like the 1st bottle three years ago but struggled to finished the 2nd one. The finish became a bit off-putting. Revisiting after a year or so, I like it but don't think I would like a whole bottle. Very reasonably oriced Pikesville and Sazerac are the ryes for me... So far

Familiar bourbon of vanilla, with some young corn dust aftertaste follow by drying oak tannins. Great value bourbon, happy to use in cocktails

Nose: Smoke and caramel Palate: Smokey, sweet Texas twang, some young barley Finish: More smoke and caramel Overall: unique whiskey, I prefer this to their Peated version. Hope to find another bottle soon

Nose:mostly alcohol Palate: sweet, vanilla Finish: dry, tannic oak, hot, lingering brown sugar after heat goes away. Classic ECBP. Not as flavorful or smooth as B520, I'm tasting along side

Nose, peat with medical note, bug spray. Palate:Sweet, then smoke Finish is a bit of young barley malt then, long alcohol burn and smokey pears continue to linger. The most expensive whiskey I've purchased. Nice, but would prefer Ardbeg or to try a different version rather than rebuy 6.1. I thought this 2 years ago, as the last one on the shelf. Two years later I was surprised to have it reappear when they are up and running release 15?

Alabama ABC store pick. 109 Proof. All I taste is Corn whiskey.not much else. Pricey for what it is. I struggled to finish the bottle

Sweet, caramel brown sugar, nice oak finish. Didn't want to like this but it's a nice pour.

Nose: smoke, Texas whiskey, vegetal (bell pepper) Taste: sweet, slight Texas funk that I like. Finish: alcohol burn, vegetal Overall: a funky Texas adventure. Happy with my purchase. More conclusions once bottle half empty. Things I like a bit more Balcones Pot Still Bourbon
