Glenfarclas 105 Cask Strength
Single Malt — Highlands, Scotland
Reviewed March 22, 2015 (edited December 14, 2016)Hot, needs lots of water but still fiery. It seems like a young whisky. Sweet Barly with a pleasant sherry note. Short, slightly peppery finish. A bit disappointed in this one. I'll finish it off and make room for something else. -
Old Pulteney Navigator
Single Malt — Highlands, Scotland
Reviewed March 4, 2015 (edited December 9, 2017)Hot alcohol arrival, enjoyable sweet and sour notes. Pineapple notes show up in the middle along with some sour apple, oak and shortbread. Sweet finish with a little smoke swirling around. Oily and coating mouth feel. 46% and non-chill filtered. Fresh and satisfying.
