Casamigos Blanco Tequila
Tequila Blanco — Los Altos, Jalisco, Mexico
Reviewed May 13, 2019 (edited April 6, 2022)Like it’s exceptional Anejo brethren, Casamigos Blanco is very smooth. However, it’s personality is much less intriguing, albeit still recognizable in a sea of humdrum generic tequilas. Unequivocally a quality tequila, though not quite my style. On the palate, I get hints of vanilla, cinnamon, black pepper and agave. Worthy of trying, and it is good, however I’ll stick to the former. -
Macallan Double Cask 12 Year
Single Malt — Highland, Scotland
Reviewed November 29, 2018 (edited December 1, 2018)Compared to its better known sherried brother, the Macallan Double Cask distinguished itself through its robust and delectable profile. Unmistakably Macallan, its sherried signature fades into the back while heavy notes of caramel, vanilla, butterscotch, oak, and cinnamon come to the forefront resultant in a euphoric explosion of flavors. An excellent staple to have in any cabinet. -
Uigeadail is my favorite scotch of all time. It’s sumptuous profile is adorned with camphorous smoke, smoldering tar, sherry, espresso, burnt treacle, fruit cake, pepper, luscious raisins, tobacco, licorice and leather. Full bodied and rich with flavor, this exemplar drink epitomizes how wondrously crafted scotch can aspire. I will never be without a bottle of this one.90.0 USD per Bottle
