    Frightening how a change of glass can reveal such different properties. The tumbler glass with a narrow neck I used revealed a nose bursting of dulce de leche and vanilla. A little bit of oak and Graham crackers followed. On the palate finds a bursting of tiramisu, amaretto, mascarpone cream, and vanilla with a little oak. The finish reveals root beer and sweet cream. Quite an exquisite dessert.

    Very disappointing for the $60 I spent. You need at least 20 minutes to let the pour sit before you nose and sip. And even then, not worth even $20. A big disappointment. Nose is feint on caramel and mocha more pronounced on shoe polish and sandlewood disinfectant spray. Woody on the initial sip, with a hint of caramel and nougat but very oaky and windex-like on the finish. Watery, pedestrian and sad. Sad.

    Not impressed with the nose. Very shoe polishy and almost Windex and other similar cleaning products. A spicy mouthfeel but you do taste some sweet notes of caramel and maple, but very light and vapid. The finish is quite watery once the heat goes away.

    A lovely Single Barrel that demonstrates delicious richness with caramel, oak, and cinnamon notes that lingers on the palate longingly.

    Aroma radiates of cookie dough and honey baked ham. Vanilla and toffee follow. On the palate is a lovely array of cookie dough ice cream, drizzled in vanilla icing with oak and Graham crackers on the finish. A wonderful tasting experience.

    Sweet and fruity notes on the nose radiating of fried bananas, caramel, and pears, with a slight sharpness of the alcohol piercing through. Caramel and fruity notes on the palate before the heat comes on the back end. The finish lingers of banana nut bread drizzled in caramel replacing the heat of the full proof.

    The palate on this go around, now that I let the whiskey sit for 10 minutes at least has a palate of caramel and baked apples with vanilla on the back. The longer it sits, the better it is.

    On the nose, you smell buttered cinnamon bread, oak, hints of caramel and baked apples. Oaky palate, with hints of clove and cinnamon.
