Tastes

Act 8. A little funk on the nose, and a note of rental car. Milder on palate than other Acts. Smoother, less of an odd note that you sometimes get from MWND. Tasty, but not what you would expect. 1/8/2q

Smells like... kimchee. On the palate, not muck spice initially but it grows. Smooth. You get the French Oak notes. This does have a similar profile to MWND. Again, smooth and sweet. 1/8/21

Fresh rye notes on the nose, with a splash of V8. Ice tea. Smoother than the 13. Good spice. Some citrus. 1/8/21

Smells like rye. Cola notes. Spicy and smooth. Sweet. Straightforward, with more heat and spice than expected given the proof. Tasty. 1/8/21

Balanced rye, with sweet and spicy notes. Floral notes as well as minimal bitterness. Very pleasant but plenty of nuanced there. 11/29/2020

Fruity nose, strong alcohol. Depth of flavor, intense. Honey, caramel, wood, clove, turpentine. Cacao nibs linger. 11/21/20

Fresh scent, like a spring field. Some clove honey. On the palates smooth, honey, cacao, dark chocolate. A hint of Dr. Pepper. Nice spice at the end. 10/9/20

Good nose, strong notes of cacao nibs. Clean and fresh. Strong tea notes on the palate... black tea and flat cola. Smooth. A tiny hint of young corn. Finishes sweet and slightly bitter. 10/9/20

Sour apples in the nose, like cider. A bit of vinegar and pickles as well, and some wood spice. Smooth on the palate, the wood notes carry over, some cola, and every now and then a hint of florals. The sour notes aren't as strong as the nose. Definitely some young notes, almost like a young bourbon, surprising. Slight bitterness at the end. 10/7/20
