Tastes

Salted butter on the nose, along with burnt caramel. Cinnamon. Sweet on the palate, with caramel and herbs, strong cola notes. Cloves and pecans on the backend, slight bitterness. Very accessible. 1/19/19

Strong nose, with fruit, baking spice, leather. On the palate, smooth, with sour fruit, cinnamon, turpentine. Sweetness, but also an astringent rye note. Cacao nibs on the backend. 1/19/19

Good base, with a unique finish. Batch 2. 2018 A few years later, opened up my second bottle of Batch 2. Nice nose, pleasant, sweet... almost un-whiskey like. A bit of a funky note at the end. On the palate, sweet right off the bat. Some tea, some cinnamon, some honey. Unique finish. Just as good as I remember. Better than Batch 3. 10/9/20

Sweet.

Thin nose, some fruit. Velvety on the tongue. Some young notes, a hint of butter. Some floral notes, but not off putting. It somehow comes together. 1/5/19 

Fragrant, brown sugar, caramel. Sweet and nutty on the palate, but also an interesting drying note at the end. Cinnamon. Maybe a bit straightforward, but fantastic. 1/5/19

Strong nose, classic notes. Balanced on the palate, with spice and a nice sweet note towards the end. Fruit. Leather. Baking spice. Chocolate. Fine sipping whiskey. 1/5/19
