Johnnie Walker Green Label 15 Year
Blended Malt — Scotland
Reviewed April 7, 2020 (edited April 8, 2020)as a long time fan of JW black, I was surprised at the subtle flavor of this scotch. 95% of the flavor and nose are from Cragganmore, one of my favorites, 4% is the talisker with hints of smoke, and 1 % is the Caol lla which is brings sweet, medicinal, and fog if it were a flavor. as much as i love all the malts in this blend, i do miss the campfire boldness of the Black. -

Skrewball Peanut Butter Whiskey
Flavored Whiskey — USA
Reviewed February 10, 2020 (edited April 17, 2022)I don't usually seek out and drink flavored whiskey but this one peaked my curiosity. It's like a spoon full of peanut butter with a shot of sweetener and drop of alcohol. It's not for everyone and it's not really for me either. I do look forward to finding other uses for it. First, I'll try it on vanilla or chocolate ice cream. Then, I'll try a shot of it in an amber or stout beer. It's a novelty and I'll use as just that. -

Dalwhinnie Winter's Gold
Single Malt — Highlands, Scotland
Reviewed December 7, 2019 (edited December 9, 2019)this old friend has been with me for several years now. It's been overlooked for newer and more american whiskey stars as I explored the realm of bourbon. Tonight, I say goodbye to this sweet gem. It's gentle flavor is like sipping honey while salt spray from the ocean makes a subtle appearance in your glass. If you could taste the color gold, this would be it. My tastes have outgrown this tame liquid but I will remember it fondly after finishing the last of the bottle while watching the vicar of dibley -
