Ive never been a fan of flavored whiskeys but this taste like maple syrup without the sticky mess. Nudge nudge know what i mean? I bet she does. And im not even selling something.

All i taste is fruitiness. Heavy pineapple. And im not saying they are migratory by any means but i think a halved coconut flew into the bottle and banged together to hit you with a nasty coconut linger. It might go well in a pina coloda but don’t sip it if you want a whiskey.

Wow at 300 a bottle i was expecting much more than a cutsie car on top. I tasted more of the car’s gasoline in the linger than the upfront flavor sadly. It about killed me wife with the harshness. But lets not bicker and argue over who killed who, this is supposed to be a happy occasion. Save your money, theres better for less.

Had a wee sip of their small batch sour mash. I didnt love it. Its an old known name though so youll fit right in with the upper class twits if you bring a bottle to the party so what the hell. Right, right, right?

When you're chewing on life's gristle, grab some Stranahan’s to wet your whistle. I taste chocolste, carsmel, hint of spice. Dark, smoith. Yummy. It’ll have you looking on the bright side of life again!

The dark bottle and promise of plum had me thinking id really discovered something here. But alas the excitemrnt was crushed like the Austrian Border Police revotling against a poor lumberjack with closet secrets exposed. You’ll get more enjoyment from putting on women’s clothing and hanging around in bars. Pass.

Dark toffee, wood, molasses. Its like the non barrel proof but i like the taste of the other better. And now for something completely different.

This poor lad had gotten a bad rap with reviewers but i found it pleasant, dark, and smooth. Remind me of a coffee grain whiskey or a stout beer cask. But my positive review will likely never see daylight under sll these disparaging reviews. Help, hrlp, Im being repressed!

Oh Lord please don't burn us don't kill or toast your flock. Don't put us on the barbecue or simmer us in stock. Don't bake or baste or boil us or stir-fry us in a wok. It’s better than their “subtle smoke” whiskey, but still not great. But what you would expect since they use rice instead of corn in their mash, and i guess they try to hide it by toasting the barrels to give it a less harsh smoke flavor. Rice n smoke…mmmmm no.

Bye the time is reached this display at the whisjey tasting, i was feeling right frisky. I made the mistske of trying their subtle smoke first and bravely ran away after a wee taste. However, I returned to try this surprisingly light gem. I cabt give you the nose because after getting right tarted up who cares sbout the smell? We!re here to drink. I tasted cinnamon, vanilla, something sweet thst yet escapes me. I could drink her again.
