I've been drinking this bottle of Bulliet Rye for a while now, mostly in Old fashioneds, but haven't yet done a review. I get a bit of mint and plenty ethanol on the nose. At 95 percent rye, there's no denying that rye spice is the dominant player. This rye is earthy and has a spearmint note. Not much sweetness, and just a little bitter on the finish. This is great in a cocktail, but a little too rough around the edges to be a regular sipper.28.99 USD per Bottle

Belle Meade Sour Mash Straight Bourbon

This bottle has been sitting open for a while so I decided to give it another taste. It has a briny, slightly minty taste that I'm not crazy about. There's a nice bit of sweetness, but it's followed closely by a medicinal taste that's somewhat unpleasant. I get musty corn and bitterness on the finish. This is probably not a bottle I would purchase again21.99 USD per Bottle

Old Tub Kentucky Straight Bourbon
Bourbon — Kentucky, USA
Reviewed January 6, 2021 (edited January 22, 2021)Had this bottle a while, and decided to give it another taste. Not a lot on the nose except alcohol. Time doesn't seem to have improved this one much. There's a briny, minty sort of taste that I'm not loving. It has a medicinal quality.
