Aultmore 24 Year Smoky Fruit 73.25 (SMWS)
Single Malt — Speyside, Scotland
Reviewed November 7, 2019Another great drammers club pour. This fits the bill between the aultmore 21 and Aultmore 25 batch 0041 sherry cask with notes of Vanilla, Grass, Marshmallow, Caramel, Pepper, burnt honey, raisins, hay, berries, and floral notes. -
Macduff 1967 35 Year Old & Rare (Douglas Laing)

Reviewed November 7, 2019Drammers Club highlights pour. Brilliant stuff with notes of apples like in the other Deverons I tried from 12 year, 18 year, and Duncan Taylor 38 year, caramel, floral notes,,sherry, toffee, marshmallow, chocolate, citrus, apricot, vanilla, a little peat and cotton candy. Macduff did use some lightly Peated malt when it first started in the 1960s. -

Reviewed November 7, 2019 (edited October 14, 2020)After tasting a bunch of wonderful Deverons, Macduffs, and Aultmores, the Bacardi Malts rep brought open this bottle as the last drammers club pour as among the first in the US to ever try it. This stuff is amazing with notes of dark chocolate, white chocolate, raisins, toffee, vanilla, nuts, pepper, and old oak. -

Great stuff with notes of christmas cake, sherry, toffee, chocolate, nuts, vanilla, toffee, apricot, sultanas, nuts, honey, pepper, raisins, and citrus. Tried this among 11 drammers club pours, 7 of which were at least 20 years old -
