With Hibiki 17 being discontinued, I decided to go all in and try the 21. This is sick. Very rich with notes of dried fruit, burnt caramel, cherries, berries, a little Hakushu smoke, and mizunara on the nose and chocolate covered fruits on the palate, and a toffee and fruity finish. Update: Got a $25 1 oz pour of this at Sanford’s Astoria and citrus and toffee joined the flavor mix.25.0 USD per PourSanfords Astoria

Gran Duque d'Alba Solera Gran Reserva
Spanish — Jerez, Spain
Reviewed May 14, 2018 (edited August 22, 2018)Am I an easy grader who loves everything or is Stephanie Moreno a tough grader. This stuff is very good with notes of vanilla, caramel, raisins, and spices. I think before a distiller rating gets posted, at least 3-5 people should need to try it at a meeting and come up with a consensus review.Brandy Library -
