    First time trying an islay single malt. Very good. Smooth, smoky, tastes and smells like fire burning on wood. I'm used to vanilla/caramel/toffee/butterscotch/fruits notes, so smoky tastes and noses take time to get used to and also require balance between what i'm used to to keep taste buds open to a wide range of tastes.

    Smooth, with hints of caramel and raisins. Has similar taste to high end whiskies such as Taketsuru 17, Yoichi 15, Glenfiddich 18, etc.

    Great whisky. Smooth, with notes of caramel, white chocolate, lychee, dried fruit, floral, citrus, sandalwood, berries, and Mizunara.

    Very good whisky. Was fortunate to try this at a restaurant that still has it. Has a caramel/ butterscotch vanilla nose, fruity/caramel taste, and is very smooth. Pales in comparision to the Yoichi 15, Hakushu 12, and the Yamazaki 12.

    Suntory came up with a perfect name of Harmony. Harmony perfectly reflects the sweet and floral nose and taste of this whisky. Perfect starter whisky. Nikka should take notes on how to make non age statements close to or on the level the age statement predecessors were as did Suntory did with this whisky replacing the Hibiki 12.

    This smooth whisky has a fruity aroma one thinks of in date cakes or on a tropical island. Great value for your buck.

    Brilliant and smooth to perfection. Varying aromas and palates from menthol, smoke, spices, and caramel. I rank this 3rd in whiskies I've tried, behind the Yamazaki 18 and the Yoichi 15.
